RRAC is looking for compassionate, motivated, dependable people to assist in the care of our surgical cases. This position consists of a variety of hours, including but not limited to late evenings, early mornings and weekends. We would prefer at least one years’ experience and is certified.
Support surgical veterinarians and assistants:
· Patient restraint
· Filling prescriptions
· Preparing vaccines
· Teaching and learning with other staff members
Maintenance of patients
· Monitoring anesthesia
· Prepping of surgical patients
· IV catheters, venipuncture
·Use of equipment, including EKG, blood machines, microscope, etc.
Maintenance of clinic facilities
· Kennels cleaned, surgical suite cleaned and maintained.

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Veterinary Experience: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Required)
