Pacific and Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialist Day ICU Veterinary Assistant
Exciting opportunities available to join a busy 24/7 Emergency and specialty practice. At PSCVS we have 10 plus emergency doctors, 2 criticalists, 4 board certified surgeons, 3 internal medicine doctors, 1 oncologists and a part time cardiologists. If you love advocating for patients as much as our team does, as well as learning new things daily (we always have interesting cases) then we are the team for you.
Pacific and Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialist is looking for experienced assistants to join our growing team. We have FT day positions available.
Our ICU assistant works closely with the doctors and ICU nurse (IM, oncology, surgery, ER and a criticalist) to provide excellent patient care to 15 plus patients ranging from stable to critical cases. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and organized to ensure that patients are receiving treatments on time and accurately. This position requires a knowledge of pharmaceuticals and to be able to identify the signs of concern in patients. .
