Mobile Veterinary Sonography- New Jersey

Job description

Mobile veterinary ultrasound practice is looking for a certified sonographer that is also preferably a NY licensed veterinary technician (or currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Potential hire will assume on call responsibilities as needed to insure that the department is adequately covered at all times.- Ultrasonographer will be confident enough in his/her ability to report findings to our doctors.- The Ultrasonographer will ensure that exams are transferred for interpretation in a timely manner.- Will perform portable Ultrasound examinations in various units as required.- Performs in the capacity as modality leader where and when applicable.- Understands and follows departmental policy and procedures.- Invoicing clients- Follows all safety rules on the job. Reports accidents promptly, & corrects minor safety hazards.- Capable of marketing new potential clients in downtime.- Attends staff meets as required.

Must have car and be willing to travel daily within New York City/ Long island territory. Must also have excellent customer service and time management skills. Veterinary experience prefered. Mileage and other job related expenses reimbursed. Must be passionate about working with animals.
