Equine Veterinary Receptionist

We are a busy Equine-specific veterinary practice that offers both ambulatory and outpatient appointments, as well as full hospitalization and referral surgery. We strive to maintain a positive culture and work/life balance is important to us. We provide quality, compassionate care to all of our equine patients and value our team and our clients.
What We Are Looking For:
Ideally, you are a motivated & energetic person who wants to enjoy coming to work every day. You must be an effective communicator with the ability to multi-task. Prior horse & customer service experience are required; prior veterinary experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Attention to detail is necessary and a sense of humor is highly recommended.
Our Veterinary Receptionists:
- Answer phone calls from clients
- Schedule appointments for a busy 4 doctor practice
- Greet clients when they arrive for appointments
- Enter invoices and medical records
- Take payments and reconcile payment records
- Provide exceptional client service- in person & over the phone
- Prepare client prescriptions
- Maintain facility cleanliness
Qualifications:
- 1+ years horse experience
- 1+ years customer service experience
- 1+ years administrative experience preferred, but not required
- 1+ years veterinary experience preferred, but not required
Schedule: Part-time position available, ideally 15-30 hours per week.
Compensation: Starting wage is $17 - 20 per hour. Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
