Equine Sports Medicine DVM- Brandon Equine Medical Center
Brandon Equine Medical Center is committed to providing exceptional care in equine medicine and surgery, serving a diverse clientele ranging from Western performance horses to Hunter/Jumpers and Dressage horses. Our team is composed of experienced veterinarians, board-certified specialists, and a strong support staff who foster a collaborative and positive working environment. We are excited to welcome a new Sports Medicine/Lameness DVM to our practice.
We take pride in our advanced diagnostics and treatments, including:
- Digital radiography & ultrasonography
- Lameness evaluations with a dedicated arena
- Regenerative medicine (PRP, IRAP, shockwave)
- Upper airway endoscopy
- On-site lab and pharmacy
What You’ll Do:
- Perform thorough lameness evaluations and diagnostics
- Provide sports medicine consultations and treatment plans
- Collaborate with internal medicine and surgical teams as needed
- Deliver high-quality client communication and patient care
- Participate in emergency/on-call rotations
What We’re Looking For:
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Passion for equine lameness and sports medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in continuing education and professional development
