Emergency Veterinarian
Carolina Veterinary Specialists (CVS) is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team of doctors and staff in Greensboro. The Greensboro emergency DVM team is strong and extremely engaged. We are also open to Relief Veterinarians willing to pick up shifts!
We are a Certified Level II Emergency Vet Facility!
We are a proud member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS). VECCS identifies a Level II center as a 24-hour acute emergency and critical care facility with the medical staff, personnel and training required to provide emergent and critical patient care. We have the medical staff, personnel, and training required to provide emergent and critical patient care.
Our Greensboro location is equipped to offer state of the art diagnostic and surgical procedures. To help our DVM’s practice only the highest quality of veterinary medicine we have on-site/easy access to:
- Snyder Intensive Care Units
- In-house laboratory (Heska, IDEXX, e-POC, coagulation)
- SurgiVet Multi-Parameter monitoring systems
- 3 Toshiba high-resolution ultrasound machines including ER FAST scan
- 24-hour care & hospitalization
- Digital radiography
- New 128-slice CT Scanner
- State of the art facilities
- Endoscopy, including fiber otic & bronchoscopy
- CUBEX Inventory Management System
CVS operates six full-service emergency & specialty referral facilities in the Carolinas, with locations in Huntersville, Charlotte, Matthews, Rock Hill, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. Each location provides multiple referral specialties, as well as 24-hour emergency and critical care. Greensboro and Winston-Salem also have a Board Certified Criticalist, as well as a VTS certified technician.
Guaranteed minimum base salary of $175,000 for an experienced emergency clinician, in addition to a gracious sign-on bonus.We offer a range of great industry leading benefits, including a generous CE allowance including time off for CE, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA options), 401k with employer contribution, productivity bonuses, paid time off, reimbursement of membership dues, relocation assistance (if applicable), uniform program and pet care discounts.
