Overnight Registered Veterinary Technician
Animal Emergency Clinic of San Diego is looking for experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our amazing team. If you are passionate about patient care and love emergency medicine, look no further!
To be successful in this role you must: enjoy working individually and as a team with a great work ethic, excel at communication skills with clients and coworkers, commit to excellent patient care and client service, possess strong organizational skills, have a strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases, their symptoms, means of transmission, treatment and prevention and other emergency medicine procedures.
Requirements: 1-2 years' experience working in a veterinary practice, RVT, or Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit. Weekends, Holidays, and evenings are required.
Hours: We have our full-time technical staff working 4 shifts per week at 10 hours per shift. Swing shifts typically start between 4:00 pm-5:00 pm and end between 2:00 am-3:30 am (depending on start time). Overnight shifts typically start between 9:00pm-10:00 pm and end between 7:00 am-9:00 am.
