Facilities Technician - Berkeley Dog & Cat Hospital
Title: Facilities Technician
Reports to: Operations Manager
Department: Hospital Operations
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Location: Berkeley Dog and Cat Hospital
Position Overview:
The Facilities Technician provides a safe and clean working environment. Maintaining indoor/outdoor cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility.
Essential Functions:
• Performs general janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of facility restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Performs window/mirror washing throughout facility
• Disinfecting through out hospital using dilution and disinfectant protocols.
• Empty all facility trash receptacle’s and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of all common area hallways, lobby and breakroom.
• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas including, removing all debris from front of hospital including sidewalks and regular pressure washing.
• Regular maintenance and cleaning of artificial grass.
• Reporting equipment requests to Operations Manager
• Reports to Operations Manager and HM
• Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and Hospital Manager

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
