Veterinarian - Hunter’s Animal Hospital
Hunter’s Animal Hospital in White Hall, Arkansas is searching for an enthusiastic Veterinarian to join their team of dedicated Veterinary professionals.
We are a small animal general practice hospital, and strive to provide the highest quality Veterinary case possible. Our team is comprised of tenured veterinary technicians and Doctors that have dedicated their time to providing care for our communities’ pets. Hunter’s Animal Hospital is proud to work with the Jefferson County Humane Society to help pets in need to get the veterinary care that they deserve.
We are offering:
- Base salary of at least $120K+ for a full time schedule
- Great production packages
- CE allowance + paid time off to attend CE
- Generous PTO allowance
- Flexible scheduling with an option for part time
- No weekends
Qualifications:
- Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university.
- Current State Veterinary License.
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
- Must demonstrate a desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training.
Position Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to communicate effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner with all members of the Medical and Hospital staff.
- Client communication skills, must be able to elicit information, establish rapport, offer explanations with pet owners.
- Display confidence and reassurance when dealing with pets experiencing severe stress, illness, or pain.
- May include some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Some tasks involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work.
- Position does require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
